Enlightenment Beyond Purpose

- Vita Lotus Retreats -

invite yourself to the most

Magicial Place on Earth

Human Life is relationships and experiences, enhanced by our ability to see, hear, smell, taste and touch the dynamic world we create individually and collectively.

We truly are not here to become anything, as much as we are really here to experience... We Are Already.

The illusion of purpose is... there is no purpose.

You are here to be a free mind of power intention and a life-force of presence. This begins with recognizing who you are beyond the 'concept' of purpose.

Purpose gives us something to do, something to aspire to; nothing more and nothing less. It is not an aspect of self we are to become, nor to be.

If there were a purpose, it is only to become One/Whole with the Infinite I Am and broadcast this wholeness to become the Unity of We Are.

Consciousness itself is to be an 'alive' breath...

Consciousness is about, 'touching' your self, 'touching' spirit and sharing moments with every living organism.

Enlightenment is, 'knowing' your self and 'knowing' other selves.

Wisdom is having the golden key to the library within the cosmic dance of everything that is you. It is to be within the full range of the Infinite I Am as Infinite Truth to experience itself...

This is Awareness.

You Want a Retreat...

you can take home with you!

You are not here to learn 'a spirituality', you are here to evolve into something different, be something different... live something different.

You will do experiments complimenting the knowledge you will attain to be mindfully aware. Experiencing is empowering and promotes change.  This is why, on Your Enlightenment Beyond Purpose Retreat you will not only be in a beautiful setting having an outdoor workshop experience., breaking down attachments and lifting the veil to meet your true self... you will be practicing each day. With my toolbox of Maia's Liberators... you will know Impermanence, not conceptualize what 'this or that' may feel like.

Your 'retreat' will be fuelled by experience you can apply each day when you arrive home.

What will you benefit from the Beyond Purpose Retreat?

Your journey will primarily be centered around cultivating the art of impermanence. This will allow you to release the tug n' pull of purpose as your catalyst for living wholly, and appreciate 'moments', rather than what is to come.

❦ A sense of greatness, more than the identity you play out each day. You will have an awareness you are more than a 'person' living out a life.

❦ You can anticipate a unity within yourself, without the nagging sensation you are fractured or in need of seeking a piece to become whole.

❦ You will have a clear resolve and acceptance in 'knowing' what is, detachment vs attachment.

❦ You will have the tools to begin to live life from a true space of 'presence', and not the fluffed up idea of what 'presence' should be inside the brain.

❦ You will begin to resolve your feelings associated with survival and death; release the weight of perfection and the sensation you are losing something.

❦ An awareness of your life's contradictions which have created inner-turmoil, confusion, anxiety and stress.

❦ Replace surviving life to thriving life with responsibility and accountability.

❦ Clarity of meaningless focus and the ignored meaningful.

❦ You will feel a sense of R.E.S.T.

Temazcal Ceremony | On-Site

Temazcal, translated as “house of heat,” an ancient ceremony led by a shaman, guided to purify the body and mind, heal the sick, or provide a spiritual haven for connecting with spirit and nature. Originating from the Indigenous peoples of Mesoamerica, Mexico has understood the benefits of a temazcal ceremony for centuries.

Part-sweat lodge/part-sacred ritual, participants have reported feeling physically, emotionally and mentally healthier after a guided temazcal ceremony.

While every ritual is different, ceremonies can last around two hours, guided by a shaman-led series of gratitude, wholeness and chanting.

Mayan Cacao Ceremony | On-Site

Cacao was cultivated by the mayans more than 2500 years ago... it was an intrinsic part of ancient Mayan and Aztec life, not just as a beverage or food, but as a pillar of their economies and an integral part of their religions, appearing in numerous spiritual ceremonies.

Noted as the "food of the gods', the medicinal use of cacao, or chocolate, both as a primary remedy and as a vehicle to deliver other medicines, originated in the New World and diffused to Europe in the mid 1500s.

With song, music and dance, the cacao ceremony is a two hour event guided by a shaman-led series to native healing - with the use of nature's elements, ancestral pre-hispanic instruments to soothe the heart, soul and spirit to raise consciousness to feel exuberant in happiness.

Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve

A sublime area of natural beauty, Sian Ka'an means 'origin of the sky'... known as the Amazon of North America - the biosphere reserve contains tropical forests, mangroves and marshes, as too a large marine intersected by a barrier reef.

One of the rare places where you can get close-up with the wildlife of the Riviera Maya, without animal captivity.  The diverse wildlife, crystal ocean waters and snug mangroves create an epic experience for bird watching, dolphins, turtles, rays and manatees in the open waters.

The delicate ecosystems the park protects is the main reason Sian Ka'an Biosphere is an UNESCO World Heritage site... home of thousands of species of flora and fauna, 300 species of birds, 400 species of fish, 100 animals species and 40 species of amphibians.

By far, we consider this to be one of the best locations in the Riviera Maya for wildlife watching, snorkeling in preserved coral reefs. and sunset views. No amount praise can do justice to the beauty of Sian Ka'an, it must be experienced!

Coba Ruins and Cenote Swimming

Visit temples and the legendary ballgame of this majestic archaeological site. Coba means ‘waters stirred by the wind’, an appropriate Mayan name as this settlement is surrounded by two large lagoons. This Mayan site is still largely unexcavated making it a true wonder in the Yucatan.

You will enjoy shaded walkways that are the original sacbe (white roads), three settlements that show the architecture and vast area of this once large city, 2 ball courts and climb the highest Mayan pyramid in the Yucatan, Nohoch Mul.

Our day at Coba will include walking the site and taking advantage of the Coba bicycle rentals. What makes this site different from Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, or even Tulum is that Coba is not a single site, but a large group of sites connected to the central pyramid, connected by over 16 Mayan ceremonial “white roads” (sacbéob).

The unique landscape of the Yucatan Peninsula has made it the place to see this underground river system as an explorer. Every single cenote has unique features in and of themselves. Some cenotes are true caverns with an overhead environment. Some cenotes are open to the environment an feel like a giant swimming pool.

What truly makes each cenote unique is what lies underneath the surface. This is what defines and differentiates one cenote to another. It is what lies beneath the surface that makes each and every location unique and incomparable to another

We too will explore two nearby cenotes, Choo Ha and Tamchaha... a short 10 minute drive from the ruins main entrance. The cenotes are located to the west of Coba village where contemporary Maya live year round. Choo-ha in the Mayan language means “dripping water and Tankach-ha, means in Mayan language “deep water”. Swimming in Cenote Choo-Ha and Tankach-Ha is a relaxing and refreshing moment, especially appreciated after visiting the mayan ruins of Coba.

Monkey Sanctuary | Lunch Tulum

The emotional experience of seeing these remarkable animals is likely to be something you will remember for the rest of your life. Some have told us it changed their lives, changed their outlooks and even inspired them to give something back to the earth in their own way. Whatever you take from the experience we hope it includes a new understanding of the dangers these and other animals face due to illegal pet trade, habitat destruction and poaching.

Mayan Inspired Beach Massages

You will enjoy ancestral, relaxing and a therapeutic massage to renew your body and well-being. For the Mayans, the body was a sacred temple. For men and women, it was imperative to take care of it. You will experience a culture perfected massage technique part of traditional methods of healing. You will alleviate tensions, sensations of restored affection and purity of the natural elements moving you into a serene relaxation.
